Spring is here

All

According to NationalToday.com, Spring arrives on March 19, signaled by the vernal equinox, spring equinox or March equinox. In the Northern Hemisphere, the sun crossing the equator line as it tilts towards the sun brings an increase in daylight hours and warmer temperatures. Day and night also become equal in length.

This rebalancing during the Spring season typically inspires us to come out of winter hibernation with renewed motivation and purpose. Here are some ideas on how you can make the most of Spring’s longer days before the hot Arizona temperatures arrive:

Take a walk

Our wet Arizona Winter means the desert is alive with color! Hit the outdoors or your favorite hiking trail and invite a friend to come along.

Plan a celebration

With St. Patrick’s Day, Holi and Easter all falling in the month of March, it’s a perfect time to take the festivities outside and get together with friends and family.

Clean & organize

Throwing open the windows (and maybe noticing the dusty tracks or spotted glass?) can inspire you to tackle those cleaning and organizing projects you’ve neglected all Winter.

When it comes to your Medicare needs, now is a good time to safely dispose of medication you don’t need or is expired, including over-the-counter medicines. You can organize healthcare receipts, business cards of your healthcare providers or take the time to schedule your annual physical or preventive screenings.
